Family Storytelling Series: Oni Lasana

no reservations required
Ticket Price: POSTPONED

Godfrey Daniels sponsors Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild storytelling sessions throughout the year.

“Many Muses of a Storyteller”
Since 1984, Oni has shared her passion for storytelling worldwide. Oni is a one-woman cultural-educational entertainer, who leaves audiences in awe from whatever character she portrays in her interactive, musical, high energy storytelling and poetic deliveries. She’s a member of The National Association of Black Storytellers, Keepers of The Culture, Inc. Storytelling Group, Patchwork Guild, and the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild.

The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild and Godfrey Daniels present the Family Storytelling Series, the third Sunday November-April at 2:00pm. Admission is $5.50 and children five and under free. Cops’n’Kids will hand out free books at these events. If the weather is threatening, check back here or the LVSG website before heading out to these events.

Partnering with the LVSG is Cops & Kids Lehigh Valley, distributing free books.

This is not a story time where books are read, but a family-oriented telling of stories, new and traditional, in one of the best listening rooms in the Northeast. In the cold winter months of an earlier time, stories were told around the hearth to help keep the heart of a family warm. Each winter, the Guild and Godfrey’s will bring back some of that heartfelt warmth that can not be achieved with central heating.
