Your Next Favorite Band’s Winter WonderJam 2024! – featuring Joe Edelmann, Emma Bockrath, and Kate Hughes! | A SouthSide First Friday Event
PaidTicket Price: $25.50 ADVANCE | $30.50 DAY OF SHOW
7PM DOORS | 7:30PM SHOW
At the end of each year, Your Next Favorite Band podcast likes to reflect on all the amazing guests, and invite them back to share “tidings of great joy”. Some send along messages and recorded performances to share on the livestream – the broadcast will be on Tues 12/3 starting at 8pm ET – while others join in person to be a part of the live show.
This year we are honored to bring Joe Edelmann (frontman for There, There – a tribute to Radiohead), Emma Bockrath, and Kate Hughes for a night filled with music and holiday shenanigans. We’ll also be sure to take a moment here and there to express gratitude and seek to raise donations for those less fortunate. Hope you will join us!
Welcome to…Your Next Favorite Band!

That’s both the show title, and our promise to you. We are tireless in our pursuit of finding incredible, genre-defiant artists who are a hot, up-and-coming band, or a group who have been delivering for years but have flown under the radar.
We will bring you livestreams, podcasts, and perhaps even a live concert where you can listen to the stories and hear the music of artists personally curated by us based what we feel will be worthy of your time.

Emma Bockrath is a 2022 Moravian University graduate who started her music career where she grew up in Northport, New York. Her music showcases her background as a jazz vocalist, equally inspired by powerhouse singers and songwriters like Madison Cunningham, Lizzy McAlpine and Chappell Roan. She currently gigs in the Lehigh Valley area frequently for her original music projects (Emma Bockrath, Fuze State) as well as in miscellaneous jazz contexts. Her most recent release – the full-length album “Spectacle” – has a soft concept album backbone, with many songs revolving around the self-discovery of one in their early 20s and the fear of vulnerability after a period of isolation.

Kate Hughes is thrilllllllllled to be back on the Godfrey stage. “This is just a magical, magical space tucked in the heart of the official Christmas City. Godfrey’s has been around for nearly FIFTY years. Yowza. I just imagine all the love in these walls. All the people who filled these spaces, performed, sat and listened, cried, screamed – for the last five decades. There really aren’t words enough to describe the spirit and feeling of this place. I can’t believe I get to be on this perfect stage with the incredible talent lined up tonight – I’m overly grateful. Christmas came early for me.”
Kate hopes the audience tonight really feels the spirit of our community and is compelled to research other gems throughout the Valley and support all of our small business owners and creative offerings! Kate performs standup comedy and can be heard every Monday on her iHeart Radio show “The Lunch Express with @iH8Kate” – celebrating community by telling bad jokes, interviewing the locals, talking about her cats, and great music. She loves meeting and working with local creatives. Kate can also be found hosting stand-up comedy shows at @Inkwell in Allentown, @coldfusioncomedy @Icehouse in Bethlehem, and randomly on @donttellcomedy in the Valley. “Please support the arts – it’s so important!”
