COVID-19 Policy

Health and Safety at Godfrey Daniels

Updated COVID Policy Statement Effective March 1, 2023

In keeping with trends in the community and the intention of the U.S. government to
declare an end to the Covid-19 national health emergency, Godfrey Daniels no longer
requires masks or proof of vaccination or negative Covid test.

Because we are an intimate space, we encourage and welcome masking as a personal
choice. Masks will be available at the door.

Exceptions to the policy may arise per a request from the performing artist. We will
make every effort to provide advance notification to patrons.

As always, we request that you stay home if you are not feeling well or experiencing any
potential Covid symptoms.

We will happily refund your ticket for any reason related to Covid-19. Please contact us
at reservations@godfreydaniels.org.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Policies are subject to change as necessary and as determined by the CDC and local health department officials, and with our Board of Directors’ desire to protect our artists and patrons. Changes will be reflected on our website, in our weekly Tuesday Gazette newsletter, and communicated directly to affected ticket-holders via email. We thank you for your cooperation.

What Safety Protocols has Godfrey Daniels put in place?

This a reminder that Godfrey Daniels is ultimately a very intimate place, and seating is necessarily close for all patrons. Since we have reopened we have been doing our part from inside the venue as best we can.

  • We will be operating at a reduced seating capacity of 75, from our pre-pandemic days of 90.
  • We have three HEPA filters running in the concert space.
  • Godfrey Daniels staff and performing artists are all vaccinated.
  • Our concessions counter is open with a limited selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, canned drinks, and some dessert items. Please limit your BYOB to beer and wine. Your own water and water bottles are also welcome to be brought in.
  • Surfaces are sanitized frequently, and hand sanitizer is available.

By working together, we may all continue to enjoy live music inside our beloved venue. Thank you in advance for understanding and following our Health & Safety policies.
