Support Live Music at Godfrey Daniels with a Year-End Gift of Giving!

Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure live music continues to thrive in our community.

Dear Friends of Godfrey Daniels,

As we approach the close of another remarkable year, we reflect on the power of live music and the joy it brings to our lives. At Godfrey Daniels, our mission is to nurture and celebrate traditional and contemporary folk music and the performing arts, providing a unique and intimate space where artists, performers, and audience members come together.

This year has been extraordinary, with over 217 events showcasing incredible talent. Some highlights included artist debuts to our stage by Jim Lauderdale, Sonny Landreth, Leslie Mendelson with Steve Kimock, James Maddock, Windborne, Alash, Annie Sumi,  Radoslav Lorkovic, and many more. We also welcomed back long-time friends and old favorites, such as John McEuen, Claudia Schmidt, The Nighthawks, Mike Farris, Anne Hills, Sloan Wainwright, Vance Gilbert, Roy Book Binder, and Sloan Wainwright, as well as special tributes like our Hank Williams Tribute and Boundless Love: John Prine Tribute.

2024 saw the return of our family series, Jelly Bean Jam. With the help and encouragement of comedian Kate Hughes, we expanded our programming to include Comedy, with some success. We also hosted some outside events at the IceHouse, MusikFest, and this year, the Philadelphia Folk Festival.

Each performance brings a moment to treasure, made possible by the rare intimacy of our space and the passion of our community. We invite you to reflect on an event you attended at Godfrey Daniels, immersed in the magic of live performance. What did it mean to you? What does Godfrey’s mean to our community – both artists and audiences?

As a non-profit arts space in the heart of the Lehigh Valley, Godfrey Daniels relies on the generosity of donors like you. Your support helps us continue our mission of enriching lives by connecting people through the unique experience of live performance.

Every donation makes a difference:

• $25 helps us maintain our Listening Room
• $100 supports community workshops
• $500 brings a renowned folk artist to our stage

Donate today to our Year-End Giving campaign and join us in preserving the gift of folk music for future generations. Together, we can continue creating unforgettable moments that connect us all.

Wishing you a harmonious holiday season and a New Year filled with Peace and song!

With gratitude,
Your Friends at Godfrey Daniels
